Full tour description:
Alanya Short City Tour is a mini sightseeing tour of the most popular places in the Mediterranean city of Alanya. Accompanied by a guide, you will visit the following places during your Alanya tour:
Damlatash Cave. Damlatash Cave was discovered in 1948 by accident during the construction of the harbour. In Turkish, the name means "cave of dripping stones" because of the numerous stalactites and stalagmites dating back 15,000 years. A visit to this cave is good for asthmatics.
Cleopatra Beach. Cleopatra Beach is one of the most famous sandy beaches in the world. Its name comes from the Egyptian queen, Cleopatra. Legends says it was a gift from the Roman commander Marcus Antonius. Legend has it that they both swam here.
Teleferik is a cable car in Alanya to the Alanya Castle built by the Seljuks in the 13th century located on a hill 350 metres from the sea. From here you can watch the sunset and the marvellous view of Alanya.
Photo break at the Alanya Terrace with a marvellous view of the city. It is located next to the "I love Alanya" sign on the hill, which is visible from almost anywhere in the city.
* When it gets cooler in spring and autumn bring a jacket to protect yourself from the wind.
* A short tour of Alanya and the cable car is organised on a small convertible bus. These are comfortable and fun vehicles.
