The "Lights of Anatolia" dance tour from Alanya offers a world famous magnificent dance show, which takes place at the Aspendos Arena, built next to the famous Aspendos Theatre in Rome. The Aspendos Arena show centre, located about 93 km from Alanya, has the largest stage in the world with an area of 1300 m2, a total construction area of 25000 m2 and a capacity of 5000 spectators. Lights of Anatolia is a synthesis of hundreds of folk dance and music programmes from different regions. The dance show is based on ancient mythology and cultural history and is designed to introduce the world of ancient love and fire that emerged from the history of culture. Lights of Anatolia combines the rich culture of Anatolia and the magic of dance on one stage with a magnificent stage design. Since its debut in 2001, it has been performed in some 93 countries. It has been performed to more than 35 million people both abroad and domestically. The Anatolian Fire dance group has 250 dancers, various choreographers and technical staff. The Anatolian Fire and Troy shows are held at the Aspendos Arena in Antalya every year from April to November.
